Atlanta-based freelance photographer Kaylinn Gilstrap is a rancher's daughter who was raised in Branson, Colorado, approximately 35 miles from the Piñon Canyon Maneuver Site. She has been documenting the people opposing expansion for over two years, and is currently working with Jim Bigham on a documentary film about the issue. She received her training at the Art Institute of Colorado, and her work has appeared in several publications, including the Denver Post. Earlier this year, her images were on display at the Standing Sun Gallery in Denver.
